Screams that Shatter

Reaching for the phone,
Leave me alone,
Ringing off the hook again,
Silence the tones,
Desperate screams and pounding,
Inside my head,
Cover my ears,
I don't want to hear,
The pain coming from my lips,
Screams that shatter,
The window panes,
Where people sit and stare,
They whisper words of hate,
All of this is swelling,
Taking over at once,
The small, silenced, voice,
Of unspoken remains,
From the last of my days.
