Deservingly Untitled
She is swallowed in a crowd
Yet she feels
Gargled
In loneliness, "aloneness"
Solidarity
Tears carve crevasses
down her cheeks
Night after night, her fingers break
gripping
to the sheets
Her only friend, protection
Warmth
In this world of those who
"need" her, "care" for her
The nonexistent those who
want her
And time
the biggest enemy
Turns those "I cans"
Into "cants"
Dreams into nightmares
Each second a dagger,
A murder with little investigation
Tick tock
Screams the clock
Scream the silent glares
As she is expected
To be good, smart
Beautiful
And lets it down
"it"
As if the world cares
Self induced hatred
School induced suffocation
Hair knotted, eyes rotted
As her brain drives her
deep into the ground
