Favorite Quote:
If we deny the love that is given to us, if we refuse to love for fear of pain or loss, then our lives will be empty, our loss Greater.

I'll miss the golden color
Of the rising sun.
I'll miss the weird games,
My friends and I won.
I'll miss the sparkling,
Clear blue sea.
I'll miss the person
I used to be.
I'll miss the bright stars,
On a cool winter night.
I'll miss the skyline,
With all the city lights.
I'll miss the clock ticking
On a long school day.
I'll miss the weird things
You and I'd say.
I'll miss Christmas Eve,
Full from a feast.
I'll miss Halloween,
Dressing up as a beast.
I'll miss our flag,
That red, white and blue.
But most importantly,
I'll miss you.

I wrote this peice during Language Arts class when I had some extra time. I don't exactly know what inspired me to write it, but the words flew out of my pen onto the paper. It's one of my favorite poems.
