“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
― Eleanor Roosevelt, This is My Story

Hold It Wide Open was his phrase
767 was what he raced
Connor had a zest for life
Something that most don't poses
He lived until the day he died
Not just in a way of counting the days
But living life in every way
He is missed and loved by all
Don't cry because he is gone
He is now in an ever-lasting life
Be happy he lived
He is looking down on us smiling
As we keep his memory alive
So strive to live the way Connor did
While he was here on this earth with us

The author's comments:
This is one of the many poems I have written for a boy who lost his life at a young age, he will for ever be in our hearts. I write for him and his family because I know it will bring a smile to their faces, and that's the least I can do. "Hold It Wide Open" -CTL #767
