Her heart keeps with the beating of the drums
Racing with the rhythm of the dance
Singing with the laughter and the songs.
The rhythm of the music compliments the rhythm of her body
Crushing the dirt and grass underneath, waving arms in the air.
As passionate red of the flames engulf the night sky
Her heart keeps with the beating of the drums.
The moon above her head glows on
Eccentric reds browns and blacks disguising my comrades.
There is no stumbling because there is no worry
The tempo takes control of her body.
As her feet and arms dance in a choreographed free way
Her heart keeps with the beating of the drums.
Their moves reflect each one of them in a diverse way
Yet their bodies move as one being sincere and whimsical.
Their hearts being sung and danced out, their spirits radiant
Her black eyes have an amusing sort of crazed look.
As she dances the most incredible and inspiring dance of her life
Our hearts keep with the beating of the drums.
