It Goes Far

I look up at the trees,
I see them swaying back and forth.
I hear the birds singing,
I get ready to hit it hard.
All the way out into the luscious green.
I stare up at the sky,
Up into the blue.
I’m waiting and waiting,
For it to come speeding at me.
And BAM! It goes out so far, I can’t even see.
I can hear the leaves rattling behind me,
Standing in the line-up,
The cool breeze chills me.
It’s my turn once again.
I hit it back into the sky it fly’s away.
