Evanescent Embers
Fire,
Fire burning bright,
Won’t you light my candle tonight,
You see the glee you bring to me,
Will never force me to flee.
I could see the flames burning bright,
All through the night,
As bright as the morning’s sun,
That burns brighter than the newborn son of a mother freshly out of childbirth.
The embers,
The flames,
They fascinate me.
My eyes are fixated,
Then they gyrate,
Like a kaleidoscope,
My eyes are thrown and thrashed about,
This may be an epileptic seizure for all I care,
But I don’t care,
I love the flames.
I’m not a pyromaniac if that’s what you’re thinking,
I’m simply strangely fascinated with fire.
The bright embers that shine through any darkness,
That you can see from any distance, no matter how far away,
Are impressive to say the least.
Forest fires?
Yes they are tragic,
But look at the devastation that one simple spark *snap*,
Can cause…
Fascinating…
To say the least.
