Favorite Quote:
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.
Helen Keller

Tall and Strong it stands among the cliffs,
Shining magnificent light,
On a clouded and forgotten life,
A guide to the weary and salvation for the oppressed,
The man a far stands and stares,
Watching and waiting for his cue
When the stone saint shall guide him to a blissful faith,
And the Vessels, in hiding, shall call out to the blinding glint,
Changing their direction after catching the hint,
The Heavens are calling! The Heavens are calling!
Come drifting my way
For In darkness I shall save you, with light I will direct you
Like a “Beacon in the Distance!”

Have you ever felt lost? Like you needed a guide, but no one would come? I felt like this when writing this poem. I remembered how my parents would tell me to turn to my religion and look for direction from a spiritual guide. So My Beacon would be the Savior I look to and the beliefs I hold true that help me pull through in my darkest hours. How do you interpret it? What is your Beacon?
