Body racked in heaves
Hands trembling
Mind rampant
When will it cease?

Freedom snatched
Freedom stolen
Freedom in the clasp of another
Shackles
Chains
Bound to this forsaken island

Angel Island
A savior
The buoy has vanished
Consoling
The embrace of dust

Shall I submit?
Shall I pledge allegiance?
America
Save me
