Just sitting there
Thinking about the world
The color of your hair
Curtis’ sock choice
It doesn’t make sense
Not when you think about it
But then you get tense
You experience that moment
You can hear everything
You understand it all
The birds begin to song
There’s nothing like it
Bu then it fades
Your understanding and joy
The colors slip through shades
You’re back to where you were
Just sitting there
