my experience with bullies

you say i changed
that i'm not like before
you say i ain't
the real me anymore
but you
the rocks you threw
left scars on me
scars you can't see
[pause]
now.... don't think your words affected me!
remember i changed hunny
i ain't the weak girl you used to see
i'm stronger now than you could ever believe
no matter what you say i'll always achieve
my goals and you're not gonna stop me
but i guess i should thank you somehow
because the scars you left are what made who i am now
