My Hood

Sneer on this chick’s face
Kickin, pushin ‘er way through school
All ‘er clothin lined with lace;
Shades an’ high tops, girl was tha coolest of tha cool.

Scars on ‘er yellow-green back
Hair fallin, a grayish black
This chick wadn’t from my hood,
She was, I woulda stopped the attack;
Dealer come for her money, to sell ‘er more crack
No money, her body lay in tha mud,
She tha color of cracked, faded, blood.

Swag that’d make ya stutter
Body that’d bring ya under
This chick wadn’t from my hood;
Thick headstone, where she once stood.
