Who knew that being bored could become so tedious?

My hands, they listen like ears
Focused on the world around me
They take away all my fears
And help me see a different way
It doesn't matter whether it's
I, her, him or they

My hands can compose a dirge
Or write about the Devil's Angel
These thoughts trapped inside me will merge
With the help of a pen or pencil
Don't try to Chase Yesterday
Lock on to the path ahead
'Cause one day, I swear, you'll reach success

The leaves from the vines are falling so slowly
Don't you ever cry
Don't show no mercy
If we were to die
Do it with pride
Don't let yourself fall
'Cause soon, you will rise

The Eyes of the Pejite glow so brightly
The Moon's whisper at night can only be heard
By those, who look at life, lightly
It doesn't matter whether you're irreproachable or nondescript
Whether you have a god to fight or a year to live
Because these hands will listen to you
And only you.

Our school told us to write a poem about ourselves. So I thought that since I love to write so much, I would do my hands. It is something that helped build my self-esteem
