For The Love Of Dance

Dance is life
And my life is dance
Watch your feet
and fix your hands.
Stay on your toes
But only in your spot
If you dance hard enough
You’ll sweat a lot.
Straighten those legs
and kick your legs high
point those toes
it’ll work if you try.
You flow like the river
smooth like chocolate
Whatever the style
no one can mock it.
Plié, plié
gran jeté, gran jeté
practice all night
and practice all day
You work
you try
you sweat
you cry
But all for the love of dance
