Just Because
Just because I’m African American
Doesn’t mean I’m not going to college
Doesn’t mean I don’t like school
And doesn’t mean I’m ghetto
Just because I’m African American
Doesn’t mean I know how to play basketball
Doesn’t mean I like rap music
And doesn’t mean I steal cars
Just because I’m African American
Doesn’t mean I’ve been to jail
Doesn’t mean I like to fight all the time
And doesn’t mean I do drugs
Why do people feel that way about me?
Why do we have so many stereotypes?
Why cant we all just be equal?
