Because hearts aren't kind

The tears won't come
I refuse to cry
don’t think im heartless
don’t ask why

I’m alone i think
that's what it is
tears are a show
I don’t need this

Laugh with me
be a friend
nothing's real
I soon will end

don’t think i’m cold
because my eyes are dry
i'm not strong
i’ve just said goodbye

To every emotion
I let in my mind
my brain's my heart
because hearts aren't kind

The tears won’t come
I refuse to cry
my heart is numb
don’t ask why
