we're not so different
you see the tears on my face
why don't you care?
you think just because my skins a different color it means
we're two different people.
we're not so different
why be so racist
when we can be friends
I'm a child who lost both parents and the only thing i have left is my blanket that keeps me warm
my blanket symbolizes my mother and father and the lack of comfort i have now
so maybe that's whats different about us
but it doesn't give you the right to say the comments that come out of your mouth
what i want to hear is
we're not so different
you and i
i hope you feel bad picking on a child the way you did
