My heart,
Once fragile,
Now stone cold,
Once upon a time
Love made me whole

I wanted to trust
But couldn’t
So tell me,
Was it love, or lust
Wait,
You shouldn’t
Doesn’t matter
Because
Shatter After Shatter
The pieces
Start to get harder to put back together

I opened up my heart
A mistake, on my part
What was once so sweet
Now seems so tart
But eventually
Shatter After Shatter
You leave the pieces torn apart
