Sunken,
Sunken in blue
Blue,
Blue the color of my veins
Every breath stolen
Tucked inside my lungs
Needing to breathe,
Needing to breathe as much as I need not to
Don't breathe
Stay,
Stay sunken
Sunken in blue
Blue the color of my veins
My veins,
That carries crimson silk
Crimson silk to the tips of my fingers
Fingers,
Fingers that reach for air
Air that I don't need

The author's comments:
Ok, so I was brushing my hair and standing in front of the mirror wearing a very nice shade of blue shirt, and I noticed that the shirt perfectly matched the color of one of the veins in neck. So all day that one vein looked extremely bright every time I looked in the mirror, and the line 'blue the color of my veins' kept playing in my head... so the only way to get it out.. is to write a poem. So ta da.
