Hypocrisy

It acts as a parasite,
that eats away at the foundation of all that I know.
It is like a mask,
that conceals the intentions of my evil, deceiving foe.
It resembles a monster,
that exploits the vulnerable by only coming out in the dark.
It is the feet,
that stomp on the dreams of the idealistic, with a reality quite stark.
I know not of its color, nor its shape,
And its size is a mystery.
But there's one thing of which I am certain,
Its name is Hypocrisy.
