POW, POW, BANG, BANG
DANG THERE GO THAT SAME OL’ GANG
YOU HERE ONE SHOT SOMEBODY DIES
EVERYBODY RUNS
AND THE MOTHER CRIES

THE CHILDS LIFE ENDED FAST
TODAY WAS THE DAY HE SAW HIS LAST
NO MORE DAYS
NO MORE NIGHTS
NO MORE SMILES
NO MORE LIFE

HE NOW REGRETS WHAT CAUSED HIS DEATH
HE CANT EVEN SEE THE REST OF HIS YEARS
AND NOW HIS PARENTS FACES MANY FEARS

KNOWING ITS HARD TO LIVE WITHOUT THEIR ONLY SON
AND KNOWING THAT THE DAMAGE HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE

The author's comments:
I was doing a report about the murders that go on in the city of Detroit and the assignment had to have a poem to go along with it. And thats where i got the idea to write this poem.
