Rainbows and sprinkles,
Sparkles and twinkles,
Is the only life a little girl knows.

But along comes teenage life,
Where glitter,
Turns to knives,
And black,
Is the tint,
Of her clothes.

This path that she's chosen,
Leaves her parents all frozen,
as her outlook on life,
Has changed.

Rainbows and sprinkles,
Sparkles and twinkles,
Is that life that she's left,
And has slain.
