I stand alone in the forest
underneath the trees

Everything seem to pull at me
even the leaves

The air seems to summon me
it all seems to plead

The trees are whispering their story
that everyone seems to know

But how can they know it
if they never listen

If they never watch
or at least pay attention

The air is crisp
the grass seems to glisten

I stand before a tree
that's like a giant in size

That is reaching for the sky
for it's unknown prize

This tree has been here
for many many years

And it's purpose
has never been so clear

This tree is here
to show mankind

That life will be ok
just give it time
