On a foggy night- a ray!
Crystal clear as day!
My eyes light up with hope,
Longing to grab the rope,
Of sunshine, of happiness.

My world is bloody- dreary.
My heart shut down- it’s weary.
Then across the sky,
The light, the sight made me cry.
Of sunshine, of happiness.

In the dark,
Alone.
No place to call my,
Home.
The death and hate,
Arise.
Set fire to the,
Skies.
So I stand,
Alone.
Nothing to do, but,
Roam.
Longing to climb that bright, tempting rope,
Of sunshine, of happiness.

I wrote this to mirror my own feelings. Sometimes you feel hopeless as I do in this poem.
