A whitewashed wall –
a cantabile clean slate,
a change for tomorrow,
a decision of fate.
All a small splattered streak,
Smudges of paint,
These simple scarce patches –
pure images faint.
Deserved dark memories,
A changed heart of gold,
Money can’t retrieve
A soul once sold.
Lost in pressure,
An indistinct sight,
Lost its value, its purity,
It’s white.
