My heart was once split into two,
My body was in bruised,
but so was my heart,
But when I set your fluorescent red roses on fire they turned black,
As I sit by the window watching the brightness of the moons glare,
cascade on to the burning black rose,
That turned to ash,
That crumbles in between my nimble fingers While the wolfs Howl,
The distant memory of you fades to black,
The bruises you left me faded to white,
My heart is now in one piece,
The only thing I have of you is the ash from the rose that turned black,
And the memory of the heart that was in two.
