The stars so bright
Night so peaceful
So why can't I sleep?

No one's awake
So the house is calm
So why can't I sleep

Dogs in bed
Not making a sound
So why can't I sleep
…
The music's calm
The bed is warm
So why can't I sleep
...
For sleep is so nice
Sleep is soothing
Sleep is a man best friend
Sleep keeps you going
So why am I not tired?
