Tinkering fingers
across grand pianos...
Silhouettes sing softly
melodious harmonies
Midnight.
Sleeping children hear
not a thing
Peaceful lullabies linger
dreaming till’ dawn
Dancing!
Moonlight.
Shadows swoon.
Waltzing!
Twilight
glowing crescent moon.
Piano Players
Create calm symphonies,
sweet somber melodies...
We fall
Asleep.

The author's comments:
I am passionate for music, and I especially love the piano. I was talking with a friend, and we were discussing musical instruments and our musical history. My friend said, "Oh, you enjoy tinkering the ivories, eh?" I just loved the word he used. Tinkering. That's what inspired this piece, my love for the piano and an interesting word!
