I am a stone. No, I am not something engraved in the ground or on a wall, nor am i as hard as glass. I am the grass waiting to be watered and maybe even over-watered. I might even be said to be the woman with the stone heart still standing today.

My English teacher truly inspired me to write. I personally fell in love with my own writing. It's my first poem that i wrote and felt so proud about writing. It was an assignment that was due in class. My English teacher, Mrs.Tatum read it and fell in love with it. I honestly think others can quickly relate to it. My self-perception of my poem is strong hearted woman still exist today. People with strong hearts can take so much hurt and little positive things and still overlook negative people around them.
