I've Been broken,
I've been forgotten
but I've always stayed on my feet
i never gave up
i lI'ved my life the way i wanted
then looked through others eyes
saw the wrongness in my actions
learned that a blade
wasn't my best friend
but instead my greatest enemy
i no longer wanted to cut
but had to
i didn't know what else to do
numbness and pain were my escape
twisting me
into a stranger
id look in the mirror and not recognize my own eyes,
its like i was in disguise
hiding behind my lies
afraid of what I've become
and where i was going
never turning to anyone for help
giving only subtle hints
praying that eventually
someone would save me
