I live
15 miles away
From the city
From the rez

Over there
They call me apple
The say I'm not
"real indian"

Because I don't live there
Because my mom
Didn't 't want me
To grow up like her

Over here
I'm lost in the haze
I'm a face in the crowd

They don't want me there
They made this place theirs
I don't have the right
Not anymore

I don't know which is worse
The hate
Or being ignored

Or the hate
That I have for me
Welling up inside
I have to turn it inward
It's the only way to go.

I feel really sad right now, but that just shows how great the piece is, so good job!

No expectations, no disappointments.

Awww :( That's so sad. No one should be excluded, but that's reality, the cold world of reality...
