Do you ever feel like going back in time?
Just to stop it at that moment
And never look back
To remove every scar that you now own
Every burn which makes you feel a waste of space
To delete every moment where people you loved let you down
To solely remember the memories which you can gladly accept
But then realizing that there aren’t many of those
When sharing a smile seems more difficult than holding on to life
When you know that even if you get run over
All you would be able to feel is numb
When it feels like someone else is rolling the dice for you
And you’ve been given the task of being a spectator
I don’t know about anyone else
For I won’t give up this chance for the world
To go back and make as many amends as I can
To save myself from getting too deep in this mess
To rescue myself
Because I know that fairy tales are nothing less than myths
And to wait for your prince
