Holding on Losing grip

September 6, 2012

I hate this feeling
the feeling that consumes me
the feeling that leaves me dark
dark and empty
dark, empty, alone
but i show that i'm happy on the inside
nobody would ever know
but with that said
why would they need to
it just causes more hurt
i want my nails dug into my skin
or that sharp edge dancing on my arm
trying to find a perfect spot
nothing will help me
will it
if you knew
would you
but i fend for myself
i am my greatest enemy
i wish i could learn
to not be...
