Alone

Alone.
She fights away her fears.
Tired.
She wipes away her tears.

Nobody sees the pain she's in.
Nobody cares to ask why.
Her life is just one big sin,
As she thinks "Who will care if I die?"

She screams to the night,
Letting out her pain.
But when it all gets bright,
She puts on a smile and pretends she's sane.

As slow songs play,
Thoughts fill her head.
Thinking of a way,
To stay in this sweet, safe bed.

She forces herself to drop the knife.
Her heart begging for a feeling.
She doesn't want to end her life,
She just wants pain that has a healing.

She curls into a ball,
Screaming "Make it go away!"
But nobody hears her painful call,
As the night takes over the day.

Nobody notices her tear stained eyes,
They all just wave and smile.
But as they walk by,
They don't know her thoughts that are so vile.

Alone.
She fights away her fears.
Tired.
She wipes away her tears.
