Alice In Pain
I was lying when I said that I didn't care;
If you'd known me better, you'd have seen the fear in my eyes.
I'm terrified of death, but rather meet it here than there-
In a psychedelic world made of drug-induced lies.
For all the parties, and all the silly games,
All the blue dresses I wore down my rabbit hole,
If you'd known me better, you could've watched me go insane,
'Cause one time in Wunderland, I lost my soul.
I was lying when I said that I didn't care;
But the rabbit beat my face in on one of his trips;
You saw the sunset bruises but you didn't ask from where-
And the rabbit met his maker under the red queen's whip.
I was lying; I was lying; but all I could do was pretend-
And all the king's horses can't put me together again.
