Live like you were dying. Don't die and wish you had lived while you were alive.

-"Erica" by Amber Dulin

Sometimes I wonder
what my life would be
If I could just fly away
and be free
no distractions
no resistance
just me

Everyone looking
staring at me
the world is on my shoulders
crushing me
so much pressures
sometimes I wonder
quietly

If there is a place
just for me
nothing to restrict
my desire to be
who I am
not who you think
sometimes I wonder
quietly

Why everywhere I turn
their eyes follow
those who can't accept
who I am
I am me
sometimes I wonder
quietly

Why misfortune
strikes some
more that others
some like me
sometimes I wonder
quietly

If death is better
than life itself
on this man made
stupid world
what good has
it done for me
nothing....

This was not a personal experience, it was based off what a character in one of the books I was reading at the time. I don't remember the title, but it was a really sad book.
