Don't know how it really works
It's some sort of magic for sure
I feel it every time I learn
The textbooks I'm supposed to fear

Every time I open them up with fear
These poisons enter my eyes that blur
Still I force myself to be clear
Why should it be like this forever?

Endless yawns and hopeless fears
Unknown poisons sending tears
Is it the same for all those nerds
With the fever that comes when exams near

I don't want it to be this way
I'm totally fed up for the whole day
So I close them and throw them away
The fear comes back; I don't wanna fail!
