I looked at you
All I saw was love, hope, potential
I looked at you
Then I saw hate, lust, greed
Why do I have my expectations high?
Why do I have prospects at all
When I should have realized
You’re almost no different than the rest of them
Things have changed
You’ve moved on
I haven’t
I should
You hate me now, I don’t know what I did
And look at me
Like the good-for-nothing loser
That I may or may not be
I listen to what you tell me
Not what I think I am
And thanks to you
I don’t know who I am
