Stormy Weather This work has been published in the Teen Ink monthly print magazine.

It rained today
It slammed on the window, made the whole world dark
It made me think of you, let sleeping dogs lie

Leave them as they are and get on with my day
But I just can't, you left too dark a mark
It rained today

The whole world was dull gray
Everything hurts, even the quickest remark
It made me think of you, let sleeping dogs lie

You promised you would stay
You reign over me as if crowned a monarch
It rained today

This is the price I have to pay
The raindrops left watermarks
It made me think of you, let sleeping dogs lie

This game we're playing is just your sick ballet
I think we've finally dipped as an arc
It rained today
It made me think of you, let sleeping dogs lie.
