Off in the distance
A splash of color
Like an amateur painter's watercolor
Catches my eye

It's bending and flowing
Shape shifting as i focus my eyes:
Now a dot
Now a crescent

It continues to morph
As I draw nearer

My imagination runs wild
It's a bird, becoming a rocket
As its wings fold onto its sleek metal body
The rocket flies away
Leaving strands of my imagination in its wake
