Blood
The forbidden elixir, the most coveted wine.
In it lies life, and strength, and power.
Through veins it pours, so perfectly divine,
Ruby rivers of liquid life, and like a toxin,
It saps your conscience as it drips away
And down my throat, life's most precious concoction,
It pours like fire and empowers my soul.
The life stolen becomes my vital fluid,
The purloined soul brightens my flame,
Like phosphorus to a match, and you're still clueless.
No idea of the crimes I've committed
And never guessing at the hell I've been through,
But now you'll pay for your blind naivety,
And I'll steal every last drop from you.
