"I want people to understand that if they kill a whale, they've got a dead whale." -Good Omens

Lady gazing
Down one flight
One hand on the rail
And one clenched tight

Lady gazing
In the evening light
To view a man new
Who's blossomed this night.

When I wrote this, I was watching something on TV with people traipsing around in period clothing. Downton Abbey, anyone? It was inspired by Mary and Matthew.

I absolutely loved this poem. It sounds like its about a real relationship and you have gone through something like that.
