If memories were erasable
erasing I would start
If you were still embraceable
I'd keep you safe at heart
for now i find in peaceful thought
your smile's quick emerge
remembering the rhythm of hearts
Our metronome of words
Pictures, still-frames
kept inside
form our time's collage
I'm stuck, stranded
desert-wide
and you are my mirage
We gaze upon the same night sky
yet feel the empty surge
for we believed in stars
