Better a nation than a state,
Better a car than a lorry,
Better a friend than a mate.
Better s saver than a spender,
Better hot than cold,
Better a keeper than a lender,
Better a smile than a scold.
Better rich than destitute,
Better clever than stupid,
Better by love than by cupid,
Why better a hooray than a boo?
