On This Darkened Day
My insides all go numb. So slow. And stay away as i collapse. So cold. A dark heart took them away. From sight. And left me here to die. To night. The clouds above move closer. Covering the moon from view. Yet the faded light kept glowing, glowing. I used to keep myself protected. Until now. Because my mind has lost direction. Somehow. A dark heart took them away. From sight. And left me here to die. That night. And the clouds above moved closer. Blocking the moon from view. And my ground below grew colder. As I started to cry. Yet the whipping wind kept blowing, blowing. And the moon kept glowing, glowing. My heart is gone. My mind is lost. I never knew what it was like. Until now. On this darkened day. On this darkened day. On this darkened day. On this darkened day. On this darkened day. I used to keep myself protected. Until now. (On this darkened day.) Because my mind has lost direction. Somehow. (On this darkened day.) I used to keep myself protected. Until now. (On this darkened day.) Because my mind has lost direction. Somehow. (On this darkened day.)
