Mirror

By , Sydney, Australia
In the other world,

Silence ruled the classroom, Their souls as clear as crystal, Or so I thought...

Blinding darkness,

Deafening screams,
Slamming the door open,

My eyes were up in flames...

Today's lesson must be taught,
Or so I might have thought,
So I declared,
"The topic today is brutality...
of reality..."

Pulling onto the trigger,
Without another word,
The row of bullets,
Flew free in the air,
As free as birds...

Deafening screams,
Drips of blood on the floor,
The bodies lay lifeless,
In the other world...
