As my eyes come across these precious moments where I really believed we were happy
They let out the gentlest tears
They scream to the world and look almost sick
I look through photo after photo and see the gorgeous face adding on years
It's much more than just an image
It's a story, our story, and it begins with that first flash
Yet no one ever thinks that looking back to the best memories
You'll shed that protective layer of crys
And then lash out, and finally you let the child inside of you slowly die
But I saw faces of anger, sadness, jealousy, faces of love
I saw a family, two families actually
Growing into one big disfuntional family
I saw their expression, the looks of anxiety
It's right there, from the first leading right up to the last flash
Up to the last of us, right up to the last picture.
