In your world
Oh if I lived in your world, I would touch my hand upon your cheek
If only for a day to feel my love returned
You have banished me to daydreams
When the sun is upon my face and I lay in the dewy earth my hand can almost feel yours in it
When I stretch out my fingers I can feel your warm hands electrifying my cold ones back to life
Your voice beckons me beloved cannot you see you've made the heavens angry when you have forsaken me?
When it rains when darkness overcomes the sun you know how my heart feels
But now I am dust but if you should love me my withered heart should beat again.
