Selfish Beliefs
One in one million,
The things you attract alters you perception
Of the worlds ins and outs.
Designed in beautiful light.
Pieces have been sewn together no one more
Important than the works of the other.
Particles of change drift within the atmosphere and each one
That is collected gives way to a greater substance of life and its meaning,
Definitions and dreams.
Our best dreams are the ones we can’t recollect
Making us doubt the happiness
Or peace we once felt.
But it lives in us, lining the walls of our insides,
Wishing to seep from pores and feel sunshine,
To strengthen it and gain power
And yet we fight it,
Brick by brick we enhance our mental walls
In order to stop the natural growth with frustration and time.
But it is the most detrimental crime.
