losing everything

Its dark
and the only light is behind me
it feels like i will be forever searching
I'm lost
I'm sad
I'm terrified
terrified not of what i will find
but of what i will have lost
I'm terrified of losing every thing
terrified of never seeing light
of never being able to feel the warmth
because all i feel is darkness
never ending
i need someone to save me
to bring me to the light
to be there when the darkness descends again
to fill the hole inside me
that is why I'm searching
searching for that one
the one who will save me
